I will single out some jumping techniques you can use in this game. First of all you should move as fast as possible because if you keep an arrow key pressed you can make a mega- jump. These jumps are essential for you because they provide you with a way to score many points in a single jump. So this is the first advice. Try not to stay and think but to move continuously in the game so you can make mega-jumps.
Another advice that I can give you is not to hurry. Walk all the distance of the floor so you have plenty of speed when you make the jump. This is fundamental because you cannot afford to make mistakes. If you make a mistake in the early stages of the game you can somehow get back on course, but if you make a mistake on the last stages you cannot get back of course. Your game will end.
So despite the speed which the game determines you to adopt don’t hurry. It is safer to take your time and to walk the full distance of a floor before you jump than to make a mistake that can cost your game termination. I for example in the early stages of the game don’t pay too much attention to being careful and I move fast. Later in the game I am more careful.
The most important advice that I can give you is to walk the full length of the floor before you jump. You can jump more and you can make a mega-jump. This can have side-effects. When you have to do a small jump it is better to make a smaller jump than to make a big jump and to fall down because you couldn’t find a floor to land on. So you should watch out. You can safely walk the full distance of a floor when you are high so there is no danger to fall.
You should try to stay as high up as possible. This is to limit the chances of falling down and ending the game. In the final stages of the game this is crucial. Another technique which I use is to jump directly up. You can use this technique when you have a couple of floors that are approximately on top of each other. These jumps are safe and you should try them as much as you can.
These are the techniques that I can describe to you. You can find other that adapt to your stile of play. I prefer to play on the safe side. You will notice that if you play fast you can get a high score once. But the other 9 times you won’t reach a high score. I prefer to make average scores and advance little by little.
